International Seminar organized by FFPRI, REDD Research and Development Center

On February 6th 2019, the REDD Research and Development Center of the Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute (FFPRI) will hold an International Seminar, "How far have we reached? Overview the history of REDD-plus and explore opportunities", in Ito Hall, Hongo Campus of the University of Tokyo. The seminar is jointly organized mainly with International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO) and Japan Public-Private Platform for REDD+ of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). 

This event, which will be held in English and Japanese, is free and open to the public. The aim of this REDD-plus international seminar is to overview the history of development and most recent trends in both of the technical and institutional aspects of REDD-plus, and explore current and future opportunities. The seminar will provide a good opportunity to discuss the potential of REDD-plus for multiple stakeholders including the private sector.
